In 2003, Pondtek was founded in Dorset, England by Stewart Remington. Ever since, he has been working with homeowners and companies to help them install, service and maintain their fish ponds.
Stewart gained his qualifications, National Diploma in Fishery Studies, at Sparsholt College in Hampshire and keeps up to date with the latest technology and industry standards attending numerous courses and technical training.
Quite often, Stewart is asked about pond fish food and routine maintenance by his clients. Everything from “do you feed pond fish in winter?” to “should I use a treatment to help keep my water clear?”. Regardless of the size of the pond the answers often remained the same.
This sparked an idea!
A pond fish food subscription box!
Why not provide goldfish and koi carp food, with the ability to change over to a different seasonal food when required, together with advice about what pond owners may want to consider doing to help maintain their water features themselves. This would reduce stress and complexity for the customer knowing a professional was giving them the guidance without the hassle of appointments and fees for a “bit of advice”.
This all gave birth to PondBox; a bi-monthly subscription service that delivers both garden pond fish food and pond maintenance information straight to your door.
How Pondbox works
Subscribe
Subscribe easily and safely through our website. Tell us the type of fish food you want and an estimate of your pond size at the checkout, fill in your delivery details and pay. We’ll do the rest.
Delivery
Your 1st Pondbox will be delivered direct to your home and will contain your chosen fish food and a handy guide. Every 2 months, around the 23rd of the month, we will send you a new Pondbox.
Changing your subscription
If you need to change or cancel your subscription, it’s easy to do via your account on this website.
